Subject: [Lee Drury De Cesare's Casting-Room Couch] New comment on What Would St. Paul Do?.
Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "What Would St. Paul Do?":
Elia's neighbor took pictures of the tin roof structure she built to show how she is doing construction without a permit. Elia thinks she is above the rules, so she wanted to do work on her house without filing any permits. When caught, she tried to imply that her neighbor is a stalker for taking pictures.
Elia's house is the ugliest house on the street and you would think with the money she makes she could fix it up better instead of just putting a tin roof on the back. This is someone who has absolutely no sense of style or taste. You can take the person out of the slums but not the slums out of the person.
That's what gaucherie and a sense of limitless entitlement will do to you: make you a perpetual boor.

Gentle Readers and Minions of the Light:
I have had a response from the station chief of Tampa's Child Protection Services. I can't figure out any way to blow this up for blog presentation. Many of y'all are smarter than I about such maneuvers, so if you can make the image bigger, do so and send me a copy. Meanwhile, get out your magnifying glasses.
I write the following to the Station Chief of Department of Children and Families in response to his evasive letter to me:
Dear Mr. Nicholas B. Cox:
Your first paragraph makes it seem that I am hallucinating about the child abuse in the special-ed department of Hillsborough County schools with your use of "...child abuse that you believe..." Had you bestirred yourself. to investigate the charge instead of simmering over it in your office, you could have read the report that the schools has about the incident and asked some questions of the participants Kemp, Smiley, and Morris yourself. You could also have quizzed Ms. Elia about this child abuse going on under her nose.
If, as you say in paragraph 2, "The Department of Children and Families does not have authority over employees of the Hillsborough County Public Schools," one infers that if one of the schools' employees beats his or her child black and blue at home with a neighbor's reporting the abuse to the Department of Children and Families via hotline, letter, or email, or with an employee's abusing a special-ed child in the Hillsborough County Schools, you can't handle these situations because you lack the authority to do so.
I would like a copy as public information of the section of the Department of Children and Family's protocol manual for officers in the field such as yourself that confirms this astonishing claim.
I thank you for sending a copy of my correspondence to Ms. Elia. I had sent her one when I sent a copy of my complaint to the School Board. This suggestion seems illogical to me since Ms. Elia is in charge of the child-abuse conduct that unfolds in the Special-ed section of the schools that I cited. If she were going to correct the situation, she would have already done so during the several years of her incumbency. She obviously hasn't.
